Welcome! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m a 40 something Jesus follower, wife to a very gracious husband, and homeschooling mom to 6 littles, though some of those “littles” are in high school! I try to add creativity to life through illustrating, decorating and party planning and in this space I love to share my adventures.
I’m relatively new to the whole art scene. In August 2017, I stumbled onto Shayda Campbell’s youtube channel and binge watched everything she had posted to that point while I supervised nap time. A couple weeks later, when I had finished them all, I decided I should give it a try. I made my way back through her videos, this time with pencil and paint brush in hand. I was using my kids’ paints and card stock, but it was enough for a beginner like me.
It was super fun, then, when my sweet husband gifted me with adult supplies for my birthday a few weeks later, and I haven’t looked back since. Over the past couple years, I’ve seen my style develop and stretched into digital illustrating and product creation. In 2022, I opened my Etsy shop and continue to experiment with new products all the time!
